Everything seems to work really well. I like the ability to leave notes about charging stations so others may benefit. Many charging stations do not have notes yet, and I've noticed that a few are in places you can't go (like residents-only parking garages). As people use the app, it will continue to improve!

App is mostly functional, but a bit clunky. Sometimes when I start up, the map stays zoomed to all of North America and doesn't update to the current location. Other times it zooms in after a few seconds. I don't know why they don't just store the last location and start there, because the full map view is useless. The vehicle options are also over 6 months behind. 2026 models are already starting to release but most models only go up to 2024. The dark mode also makes some menus unusable.

Not as "tight" as EVGo or Electrify America. Doesn't group stations that are at the same lot in as convenient a way. Little details like the way the elements move are less smooth. Pressing the exit X on the active charge panel doesn't work as expected. I need to force close and re-open the app for charge status to refresh. But it gets the job done.

This app can be infuriating! I happen to have 2 charger stations where I work: one right next to my building and another 3 buildings over. I try to get on the wait list for the one next to my building but keeps saying I should go to the the other one! I have made custom wait list boundaries on the web portal, but those don't show up in the app!! please fix it!

This app sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. It confusingly disconnects the currently running instance from whatever comes in through notifications. You don't necessarily see if you are charging or not. Pricing transparency is an issue with each provider running their own rates including unrelated fees, the list can be long and messy and requires a lot of fine-print reading. Lots of network errors pop up in the app when no network issues are present, it's just buggy.

Really clunky app with the home flex charger. My charger has a great Wi-Fi connection, but doesn't register when I start charging or stop charging for at least a few minutes. Gets to the point that when I stop charging it takes a while for the car and charger to unlatch. pretty annoying. I hope they release an update that puts more focus on the home charging tab on this app. I can definitely use with some more features and improvements (like amps being used).

Shocking reliability! No pun intended. Whenever trying to start a session remotely, I stand there waiting for the cable to unlock for a couple minutes, then I go and grab my phone to tap the charge. It unlocks straightaway, then a few minutes later there's an error saying it failed to start because it might be in use.. yeah... BY ME. 5+ minutes to initiate a charge session remotely via app? Get it together, ChargePoint, I'm getting sick of your Scheiße.

setting up a home flex charger. standing in front of the unit, the app can connect to and configure it, but I cannot select a wireless network (any network) in the app for it to connect to. after spending time with support on the phone, I have to replace the entire unit even though it still charges my car.

overall, the home station is a good quality and built. but...controlling station through application is a really horrible experience. for example, to stop the charging session, so I can take the cable out of the car, either it takes 5-7 tries rebooting the application or 90% of time I have to shut down breakers in the electrical panel. otherwise, the charging session cannot stop. if they could fix this issue/bug, it would 4/5 star product.

Needed to use Charge point chargers and mostly works. Was going to add back a star for the new wait-list system, but now they've made it much worse. The chargers cancel the session while you're trying to start it and give the reservation to the next person. Android Auto interface is super slow and almost useless -- Getting the list of nearby chargers doesn't tell you which is which, you have to click through each one at a time.

You cannot even enter the address of the charger, on the map, it will be placed somewhere else and the developers are incapable of implementing a most basic address query. Utterly pathetic. Also, there is not even an option to select, which ev is being charged, if you have more than one. But they figured out how to load an image of your car... 100% useless, but that is where their focus is. Functionality would be too much to ask for. At least the charger works.

DO NOT USE THEIR CHARGING STATIONS. I downloaded the app because it was the only way to use the charging station. But during the charge, the app glitched and no longer could connect to the station. So I could not disconnect from the active charge and there was no emergency power off. I was trapped for a full charge until it auto disconnected which I did not want or need. What a terribly designed charge station and app, I will never use it again.

Since the May 1 app update, the app won't connect to the charger. The charger shows offline and won't reconnect despite rebooting the charger manually at the breaker, and rebooting our router. It has worked fine for more than 6 months. Only change was an app update. Also, the app makes you jump through numerous pages to be able to contact support but then requires info you can only get from another part of the app. Meaning you have to start over, grab that info, and jump through the hoops again

The notification feature never seems to work because it doesn't wake the phone up. I would see a stale notice that a station is available when I check my phone, then immediately a notice that someone else has taken the spot. Useless! Fix this please. And I used to be able to just swipe down and force the My Spots view to refresh. Now the new version doesn't let me easily refresh the status of stations. I wish I can at least go back to the older version.

Expensive and inconsistent. While I understand this is not a high-speed charger, I expect I'd at least be notified when charging, which typically takes hours, is finished. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, and that's been the case for a long time...so they get to charge idling fees. Apparently I have to set my own alarm and guess when I should come back. Unfortunately it seems the inconsistent notification is not a priority to fix since it was a revenue generator. I'll go elsewhere

inconsistent. when it works, it's great. but there are times when it doesn't register a charge point station directly in front of me. I have to uninstall and reinstall to get to work. this time, it would take me in circles instead of starting the charge. very frustrating. I had to just not use the app at all to charge my car.

The off peak scheduled charging at home doesn't work. The app logic uses the power company's off peak schedule, fine, but it doesn't have the current schedule. So, if I use the schedule in the app, I would actually be charging during peak hours at the highest cost, not off peak at the lowest. They are obviously not maintaining the data required. It would be much easier for everyone if the app allowed the user to set the schedule. Big fail.

This app simply does not work. I have been standing in front of a charging station multiple times and the app will say the station is unavailable or it tells me it can't find it. Also the map distances can be way off. It will state there are stations within 1 mile, which I know are actually 10 miles across town. I have had to bypass this app constantly and am deleting it.

This app used to be great 3 years ago. it's constantly been getting worse and worse and worse. you used to only tap 2 buttons to start a charge, now you have to press 5 different buttons to start your charge. why make it more complicated?? also why can't you save my payment info? I put my card in, whether it be Google pay or a debit card manually, and it keeps sending me back to the payment screen. Lastly, sometimes I can't see my charging progress! annoying as sometimes I charge away from home!

The app is a mess. It routinely fails to locate charging stations I routinely use, which is very strange to say the least. Customer support is offshore, which presents communication problems. Charging stations have failed for me more than once. I wasted a half hour this morning trying to charge my car, ended up having to use my credit card.
