So I downloaded this game thinking it was fun until I was looking at the reviews and I said ehh I’ll just try it until one of the reviews said something that was true it said something like every time you go up to to your next level it cost the same money like I leveled up to level 13 or something idk and it cost 1000 dollars no biggie right just here’s the thing! You have to pay 1000 dollars again and your back at level 1 so pls fix this game it’ll help it so much but I have a four star because the game is good graphics great gameplay great just fix this one major problem
Not a bad game considering it's Boombit. Usually in their games you have to go through launch after launch after launch just to build up enough points to go just a little further. This game isn't like that. You tap on the power ups once or twice & all of a sudden you're halfway through the level. The levels are considerably shorter and therefore easier as well. It's also very refreshing to see all the brand new levels with all the characters and vehicles hustling & bustling about. Good job guys.
When returning to the game after a few minutes of being idle the award meter does not work. Switching between planes sometimes causes the plane to start spinning in place on takeoff. Not sure if this one is intended but the level meters no longer reset after completing a level. Fun game otherwise but when you get up there where parts cost 9,775,000 + per level I will play for a little while and just uninstall and reinstall to play again.
It's pretty fun but the constant ads after every action I do is very annoying.I had to turn off my data and wifi just to play. After unlocking the steering it gets unplayable with the upgrading system. You beat a level with upgrades being $500,000+ and you go to the next level and you only get $15,000-$20,000 per run. Makes me think they didn't anticipate people keeping this game for the high level ends of it. It's a great game but needs major game balancing for later rounds.
after looking at it more, I'd put it at 2.5 stars. this game has a fun concept, but it doesn't implement it incredibly well. nearly zero control of the planes trajectory. also. way to many adds. it has an add after everything, an add for free upgrades, an add for anything possible. decent, but could be better.
It's an alright game, but unless you don't pay, the snow level where you are able to steer (so 2nd snow level) is basically impossible because the upgrades are extremely expensive by the time you get up to that level. I've been stuck on it for 5 DAYS and I've made no progress. I feel like the expensiveness should have a limit. Like maybe stopping at 1 million or something. I paid the 7 dollars for the free multipliers, but it isn't helping. Would recommend it just gets really boring after a bit
Its fun but the ad to get you to download this game is misleading (you know very well what I'm talking about developers...) once you clip a wing the plane becomes a rag doll and is no longer controllable as advertized. Also if you don't want to watch the ad for more money, and just click to accept the lower amount, half the time you have to watch an ad anyway...
The game is fun at first. I thought the amount of ads were slightly above average for a game like this, but not over-bearing. I didn't mind watching ads for free upgrades either. What bothered me is the game becomes almost unplayable after awhile. You reach a point pretty quick where it takes too long to pass a level, because you can't earn enough money each run. I reached a point where it's over 4 million coins to upgrade the boost, but I'm only earning on average 50-60 thousand each run
This is a weird freaking game. Graphics are pretty darn good, smooth gameplay, and it's so promising, so close. But I can't find a tutorial so here's how it plays. 1. Fly the plane until it inevitably crashes. 2. Repeat step one until you get enough points to buy enough engine to avoid crashes. At this point, they advance you to another level where you start at step 1 again. It's not a flying game. It's a controlled crash game.
The game is graphically and mechanically great. The steering is a bit wonky, but ultimately a negligible issue. I purchased the $8 pack to stop ads and to have a reliable plane regularly available. This helped a lot. The issue that I have run into is this… you earn a fixed amount as you play. The amount increases a bit, but can not keep up with the cost of upgrades. If the plane level did not reset every level, then this issue would not be that big a deal. If your progress was not reset every level, then you would not need to upgrade as much. The only other solution I can imagine is that you fix the game so that your upgrades reset upon level completion too. At level 20 something for upgrades, the earn rate just can’t keep up with the amount of upgrade costs anymore. Either stop the level by level plane reset, save the paid planes progress separately, or increase earn rates a significant amount as you progress through levels. I am currently stuck on the third or fourth level after unlocking what the game calls “steering mode”
Overall, I very much like this game, despite the fact(s) that it forces you to either pay for no ads, or press 'I like ads' and immediately get an ad after that, no matter how many ads you've seen. Also, I'm fine with ads, because of course you have to have ads to keep your game up, but an ad after EVERY GAMEPLAY? No, just no. Last reason, it takes too much time to pass a level. I understand this is for extra game time, but it gets annoying.
This is a really fun game idea. That being said I've seen some criticism I totally agree with in the reviews. 1.) As stated elsewhere, the ad removal fee IS worth it, however I agree that the constant ads on the screen is annoying. 2.) I also would like to be able to go back to previous levels. 3.) THE most annoying thing by far is that the upgrades don't transfer over. And 4.) The level up system does eventually top out and you have to play for a VERY long time before being able to progress.
prompts to tell you to "play another one of our games". and the weird and annoying guilt trip tactic of the in game money going down the blender in the free version. (i have the payed version, and still have the game push me to make in game purchases. the no ads version is about 3 dollars (when i played it). it then asks you to write an early review. now i know why. the actual full curent cost of the game would be $67.97, not including tax. on top of playing their their oher games. don't waste $
Fun concept, but so many ads! Upon finishing, there is the regular option to watch an ad to increase your reward (for ten seconds of gameplay), but even when choosing not to watch an ad for the reward, an ad will play before you can continue. This trend needs to die.
This game may not have much depth, but when the gameplay is doing what it does best, it is a perfectly fun little time waster. However, there's a lot holding it back. (1 - $2.99 is worth it to remove ads, but there are still constantly two ads for other games and monetized upgrades on the screen (2 - The upgrade system will also make you reach a point where you can't really progress anymore (3 - Upgrades don't carry over to future levels at all (4 - No way to replay earlier levels
Everytime you launch your plane AND upgrade your plane you have to watch an ad. Spent the $2.99 to remove the ads and beat the game rather quickly to where the game looped back to level 1. I figured this will be easy going through the same levels again but with the ability to turn. That's when I realized that your upgrades have hidden values and the planes weren't preforming according to the upgrades. Plus two planes are locked and cost like $60 total. The Switch version has them for in game $
Waste of time, not the fun type. Theres an ad after every turn you get to crash your plane (you don't get to fly it, it literally gives you points for damage when crashing). As soon as you take off, the camera changes pov and you can't control the plane, so it's a straight crash. Game should be called "crazy plane crashing" DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, 100% RECOMMEND TO NOT DOWNLOAD.
Good game, but ads ruined it. Hardly any skills required. If you see ads you can finish a level in two tries Max. Without ads atleast 10-12 times. Very well designed but the gameplay doesn't require much skills. Just watch ads increase the power of your engine, boost, fan and you will win. There is little fun gliding the plane but it lasts for few seconds. I couldn't go beyond level 4 as I felt bored like hell. If you have that much patience and time to kill. Then may be, just may be try it.
Ads last longer than the game! No thanks. EDIT POST REPLY: Adverts are absolutely fine and understandable, but when a turn takes 5 seconds and then I need to wait 15 seconds for an add before I can take my next turn, then it becomes unacceptable. Change the frequency to once every 20 turns or give rewards for watching adverts (like everyone else) and you will get more people playing. But as it currently is, its a waste of time playing.
½ PLAY ½ ADS - Yes fully half. To play 3 10-second flights, you must watch a 30 second ad. So 50% of your time spent trying to play, is spent watching ads. Want to try another vehicle? There's one for $25 and one for $50. I wonder if the steering yokes on these models let you pull up to avoid crashing? Cuz the standard one doesn't. Down is the only way to go. Game coins won let you reduce your rate of cra-I mean, descent. With only turn control, this disqualifies as any kind of simulation.
Unfortunately, many games have turned into ad farms like this. Unplayable due to constant ads. Want progress? Ads. Don’t want progress? Still ads - 30+ seconds each. I understand developers need to make money, but this completely ruins the experience. The ads show up after almost every round, and each round lasts only 5–7 seconds while the ads go on for 30+ seconds. Either make the game fully paid or let players actually try the gameplay for a few rounds without being forced to watch ads.
I know you gotta put ads in a free game, but this one is absolutely nuts with them. There's one every two turns. When you finish a turn it tries to dupe you into watching an ad for a 6x reward. But if you do take that bonus, and go to upgrade, you might have to tap the upgrade button a few times, and they know that. So randomly, even when you can afford the upgrade, they swap the button to upgrade for free by watching an ad in-between button presses. The game also basically plays itself
Lots of full-screen ads. Thoroughly disrespectful. Like not just a necessary amount of ads to keep the game free but like so many ads that it's like the developer looked at someone playing their game and decided they specifically wanted to irritate players and make people uninstall their game. It's an obnoxious amount of ads. Like guaranteed you will uninstall, which means they get less ad revenue than if they just had a normal amount of ads.
Love the game play so much I paid for no adds. No biggie. But as you keep playing the price to fly longer goes up and the previous upgrades made disappear making you earn more coins than before. And it’s the same freakin planes!! Not cool. Now I’m on a level where I can’t even find the landing pad and for an upgrade I have to pay 15 mil for each upgrade which takes forever to get unless you know how to crash and get over 1 mil in bonus coins. I’m not paying for coins or another plane. Again nice game play… money is structured like a game scam ! I see you guys laughing. Nice one ….you got me wasting time but not my $$$
Too many ads, mediocre distance game. I made it to the 3rd level where a new vehicle is introduced at such a low level with a high cost. I imagine with every other jump being an ad, it would just be relentlessly boring and battery draining. The ad games are so horrible anymore. You can opt out of ads for $3, but this type of game is just not fun for mor than an hour at most: for me anyway.
For the record, I paid to go add free because at first I thought I found a fun game. At each level you pay for upgrades which get increasingly more expensive as you go up. That’s not the problem. What is the problem is that by reaching the next level, instead of being able to keep your upgrades, you start back at zero with no upgrades. To make it worse, whatever price the next upgrade was at the end of one level is the new price for the first upgrade at the start of the next. As a result, the game becomes unplayable after a few levels because the planes can barely fly more than a few feet. It would take forever at that point to build up the coins needed to complete it. Until this is rethought, this game is more or less unusable. It’s a shame because the general concept was good.
More ad farm than you'd expect going in knowing it's an ad farm. "Want a bonus? Watch this ad! Don't need the bonus? Watch an ad anyway!" ....$40 to upgrade the vehicle with no play to win option....There's more ad time than gameplay and even the gameplay is covered with banner ads. It's not skill based in pretty much any way. Devs put no effort into making this an actual game. Watch someone play it on YouTube and you'll have an objectively better experience than playing for yourself on the app.
I played one turn, JUST ONE, and the game forced me to watch a thirty second ad. Five seconds of gameplay, then a thirty second ad... WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?! I also checked the privacy policy and they're collecting a lot of personal data, including Facebook account information, and weren't fully clear about why. It might not be a scam, but it feels like a scam.
