When i started playing, I was a little scared I wouldn’t understand how to play, but the tutorial made absolutely sure I understood everything without making me feel like a total idiot besides the great tutorial the character design and battles are beyond amazing and if you ever have trouble choosing which character to play the game helps you out by asking a few questions on how you play and what you want in your character and gives you their recommendation on which character would be best with extreme accuracy(I tried it and have been having loads of fun with the character they recommended while trying out the others)making this game perfect for those who always have trouble selecting who they should play, and that also allows you to either discover your personal playing style or have fun using your style to fight battles, the abilities the characters possess are all amazing and look beautiful on screen and the game constantly makes sure everyone is having fun by sending out questionnaires and stuff like that and removing merit from those reported or detected breaking the rules ruining others experience, lose enough merit and you are no longer able to play ranked matches but of course there is a way it regain your lost merit again making sure everyone has fun, if you start playing make sure to check out the game onmyoji it’s equally as great and as fun(I play both), Have fun!
Experienced moba player here. I’ve been playing moba games on pc and mobile for many years now and I gave this game a try upon seeing its release. My expectations were not to high since the market has gotten over saturated with mediocre mobas. I’ve got to admit that this game was made for experienced players in mind as it lets you skip the tutorial and provides you with all of the summoner spells right from the beginning. That got me into the action right away without having to play through a time consuming tutorial or having to grind in order to unlock summoner spells such as flash, ignite, teleport, etc. This should not scare off new players as there is a tutorial option offered. Another aspect which stood out to me is the utilization of 3 hero abilities plus an ultimate. Or in some cases there are 2 hero abilities and a passive which you can level up throughout the match plus an ultimate. This provides an added element to the game which is not offered by the other top mobas. I have not played long enough to know if the game is balanced or how well he match making matches you up with players of your same skill level but I’d imagine that is a pretty standard necessity for a game in this genre. This game will not overtake my go to mobas on mobile but it will definitely see some play time when I’m looking to switch things up. What are you waiting for? Go download it! See you on the field!
This game is perhaps my favorite MOBA on mobile devices. To begin with, the graphics are beautiful. The character designs and backstories are amazing, and I like the fact that you can change the voices of the sounds. For example, when you’re battling, you can hear “First Blood” in Japanese or Chinese, which is pretty nice. You guys should work on the English voicings though, it’s kind of weird sounding. In addition, the balance is great. I’ve seen some one star reviews stating the fact that the characters are very unbalanced, but I object. The characters aren’t too strong, because shikigami’s such as Inugami can be hard to play. It’s not because the shikigami is unbalanced, because the first time I played with Inugami, he was difficult to play. Other heroes such as Mouba or Kiyohime are hard to play, but if you’re good with them, then you can wreck havoc! I’ve seen absolutely TRASH Enenra players (No offense!) and when I play as her, I’m getting kills and leveling up left and right. In my opinion, the balance of the heroes are great. So really, this game isn’t terrible, and the people who gave one star reviews must have issues with their game. The ping is not very high, the consequences from being an afk player or hacker are reasonable, and I don’t find any issues with it. Overall, I’d call this a fine game, which also satisfies me. I just recently got into mobile MOBA's and I am still jumping around between Mobile Legends, Arena of Valor and this one because I can not quite decide which one I want to fully dedicate my time to. But Onmyoji Arena is the one that I am playing way more frequently than the others. This game is absolutely beautiful in design and I love the different Shikigami (Champions, Heroes, whatever). Gameplay feels very balanced and I am having a blast trying out all the different characters with their unique playstyles. It has a very asian look to it with their heroes ranging from asian folklore like yokai/demons, monsters and deities, which I personally really dig so this MOBA is currently my favorite, just by design alone. The only problem, that also keeps my from fully dedicating myseld to this one, is that it doesn't have a big player base like it's competitors and that makes the waiting time to get into a match longer. I haven't had outrageous waiting times but compared to Mobile Legends or Arena of Valor, it is noticeably longer if it's not at peek hours. Which is why I writing this review here and I've never done that before. I don't want this game to die out and hopefully, more people will come across this gem of a game and make it more lively! Also, it has characters from Inuyasha so that is a plus.
I have played all of the mobile MOBA games but this game, this game stand out the most. This game have the most unique characters both design and mechanics. The art is fantastic out of all the other MOBA. This game also offer alot to player by giving more opportunities to earn gold to unlock characters unlike other Moba where u have to grind weeks or months to able to buy one character. I played this game 2 years ago when the player base was still good and i love every moment of it. But then it start decreasing over the year where a single queue could take 10 min just for a regular match. I know that this game is really popular is the SEA server because they advertise it over there more. I can only think of that it is the only reason why their player base in NA server is dropping. I hope they do something to drag peoples back because newer MOBA like Wild Rift is also decreasing in players. Again this game is much much better than the other MOBA out there, probably the best out of all. I love to play more but the NA sever just doesn’t have enough players.
In my opinion, this is currently the best mobile moba. Graphics are good. Gameplay has good depth. Developers are very generous with in game currency and you absolutely can have a top tier experience without paying. At the low ranks, games will be very snowbally and feel one-sided, but once you get to higher ranks it will feel more balanced. Only criticism is that a lot of characters feel very similar and it can be hard to tell them apart.
I love this game in comparison to other MOBAs out there. The UI isn't so cluttered, the shikigami (heroes) are balanced, and it's not as P2W as others. However...the file size is absolutely ridiculous. It takes so many GB of space, and it's hard to move much (if any) of it to even an SD card. I have to remove most of my games and other apps just to make way for this one
Haven't been playing for too long but have already run into a few problems, still a really good game. Casual matching is pretty bad, but that's a common problem. it's either a one sided stomp or one person carrying the whole game. There are a couple of times when matching works and it's been fine in ranked. While I do love the art in this game, alot of characters have the same face and it makes their portraits kinda hard to recognize. It also crashes every now and then but never in a match.
I love love LOVE this game, which is way it breaks my heart I can no longer play it. Trying to enter the game, it will freeze immediately. I've tried so much to fix it but being on mobile my options are limited and I just think it's stopped being compatible for my phone. Other than that, I recommend this game for others because it's just so fun. The character designs are beautiful and creative and the gameplay tends to be smooth and interesting.
Loved this game since it first came out. Now I just returned after a long hiatus and there seems to be an issue with matchmaking... Like most other concerns, the queue time takes forever or it just never finds a game at all. The longest I waited was 15 mins and then I just closed the game until tomorrow. Are there no more people playing this game or is it just the game? It's so beautiful and fun though! It would be a shame to abandon it.
I've been playing this game for a couple of months, it's a great time passer as the characters aren't TOO difficult to get down after a few plays and obtaining them doesn't seem impossible either. But recently, (for about 2 months or so?), I've been experiencing disconnection issues right when I match up and press "OK". It disconnects me from the server and I can't get back in till the match is done or a day later. This is causing me to lose merit, and I can't even do a thing about it. I've tried both fixing the game and reinstalling, and it's not my network that's the issue because I tested 3 other networks and it STILL disconnects me. I really liked playing this game, but I can't even get in to enjoy a single round with this issue.
I have been playing for just 2 days, and while I really enjoy the game, the punishment system is horrible. Due to the matches not being well balanced in regards to player levels, I get killed a lot because I'm matched against other players who are obviously at a high level (judging from their shikigami). I've been punished twice in the same day just for this reason. I was trying my best, and practiced before! There needs to be something in place to protect new players!
the gameplay is SO fun but the matching takes over 10 minutes some times, some. parts of the game are fully untranslated, and theres some loose ends. the graphics, play style, and characters are SO cool but it feels like no one plays. Micro transactions are way too expensive for what this game is, it has potential but is doing themselves a disservice.
This is a fun game, but it would be even better if it had a PC version. Not an emulator, but an actual pc version of the game. It is hard to see everything on the phone because it has small lettering, and it is hard to react when fighting sometimes because of the touch screen controls. Otherwise this is a fun game, and I wish more people played. After updating there is also an error for failure to install, code 116, so now I cannot enter the game at all.
I like the game and the thought process it was put on, but there are two problems I have and it's that there are certain spots were you can shoot the tower and damage it without the tower attacking you. And I wish I could customize my prof. pic. like it said it would allow me to. Other than that I really like the characters and their stories.
Downloaded this a month ago, and I have to say that this is really the only MOBA game I really like. But there are issues, like how most of the PRETTY skins and AMAZING characters are overprice but really, it doesn't bother that much as long as you know how to play the other characters. Another issue that annoys me A LOT is how long it takes to match with people. It takes me an almost AN HOUR to match, and this sucks so much. I hope you fix this issue because it really ruins the experience.
I was hoping for this game to be good but end up not working for me. All the characters are invisible the only thing I can see is the word "Model" and their health bar. Some people are fine not seeing their character but I do. I tried to reinstall twice and still couldn't see the characters. I really want to enjoy this game but you guys are making it hard.
It's fun but incredibly unbalanced. The towers don't do near enough damage, some characters have way too much range, and crowd control lasts too long. You can just chase someone into a tower, mow them down, and run out without even having to worry about it. A good portion of ranged characters can shoot people without even having to enter the towers range and without being on the screen, plus certain characters have stuns that last up to 3 seconds, more than half of what it should be
Seems like a relatively well put together moba, but definitely isn't doing anything interesting. Kinda dead on the NA server - tried 3 different ranked queues at >5 minutes and couldn't get in a match. Lot of spots where the translations are missing or so poor that they might as well be missing. You can post and like public comments on characters tho, so that's fun.
At first the game was incredible. Typical mobs, plenty of characters, loads of endless fun. Then one day I couldn't find other people to play with at all. Ive waited in the queue for 10minutes straight and longer, and nothing. Tried changing settings, still nothing. Tried changing servers, not allowed to do that though. After 3 days of not being able to find a single game I gave up and have uninstalled. Don't waste your time as long as this issue persists. 1/5
I think I'd like this game, BUT... It's super laggy. Like, I have my graphics on EXTREMELY LOW, and it still lags in game, and crashes when I'm about to enter a match, or takes forever to load me into the game. And YES, I have tried to free up storage and emptied my cache. (Also, it's not my wifi, since I can play mobile legends just fine) what really pisses me off is that I ALWAYS cue in late, so I get last pick, and have to wait A FULL MINUTE after the game starts before I can start the match.
