Has a lot more to offer than other free to air extra content. Great for catching up on something you missed. Love the extras on 7+ Still loving the shows and movies available. It is the best app for catch up. Can only say I am still enjoying all aspects of this application. Still enjoying the app. Still good 👍this site has so much more to offer than the other stations
7+ was easy to sign up with. once you scan it on the TV with your phone and follow simple prompts most of the connection between phone and TV are done for you, I'm not Tech savvy yet I achieved it alone. I believe for the amount of entertainment it supplies, I am continually watching this app and now avoid regular television. It enables me to catch up on or watch nearly every program I want to. I was disappointed that TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL did not appear to be found. This is my only disappointment
A disappointing downgrade from what was previously a well-done app. I can no longer sign in through google, but I've been waiting for over half an hour for the email link. it's not in spam either, and I'm not contacting help desk, so I'm just watching something else. it's ridiculous that I now have to go through extra steps in order to view free to air.
good app, most of the time but one annoying element is when the mouth of a person moves and the voice is 3 seconds later, mismatching sound with action!! I usual stop watching at that point !! I live in a rural area in WA and every time I go to chromcast to watch the footy 7PLUS says it has to establish my location so I can get it free to air I presume, another annoying aspect !!!
Good selection of UK drama series & movies. However, I don't like it that you are unable to re-watch the Series from Episode 1. You need to make the App to be flexible so drama series can be re-watched again.
It works but it would be *much* better if it kept your place in a genre list while looking at items when searching the catalogue for things to watch rather than ggoing back to the start of the list. 7+ isn't alone -- *All* of the apps in this niche I have come across have really poor usability, Either they arent paying for good developers, or don't care enough to get the job done properly.
Good selection, I like the fact that I can cast from my phone rather than messing with extra plugs and cords to get tv, however it constantly drops out randomly, whether it be a few minutes into a show or as soon as it ends, it comes up with technical issue. Pressing retry doesn't do anything. I'm forced to close and reopen the app multiple times before it finally works. Like others have said, this is only happening with this particular app. Edit: now unable to watch anything on phone at all
poorly made app. constantly drops out when trying to cast from a phone to smart tv. they have tried to make it seem like there is a lot in the catalogue, but its all garbage that nobody would watch. I'm assuming they didn't put much effort in because it is free. I would have given 1 star but I gave 2 just because it is free.
Every time I open this app I remember why I only ever use it to cast the footy to the TV. If you don't know exactly what you want, browsing the catalogue is painful. Whoever decided each alphabet letter should get its own sideways carousel with no option to view everything on one page should be forced to use their own interface on everything until they recognise why it sucks. If you change your mind it'll take you back to the start. 0/10 UX.
Great, but crashes a lot. The shows on 7+ are fantastic. The only problem is that the app crashes a lot no matter what device you watch it on. 7+ needs to fix the bugs that cause the app to crash and then it will be a 5 star app.
Episode to episode does not auto-play. When an episode ends while streaming, it has to be disconnected, then the app needs to be restarted to play the next episode. This is far from user friendly.
I have the same performance issues but I stick with it as I am a fan of LIV golf. The LIV finals happened 2 days ago, not shown live as advertised, the replay was put up a day later and now several days on there is still technical issues at their end that wont allow the file to play. I have avoided news media for 3 days so as to not spoil the viewing, but what a poor performance by 7. LIV deserve better, viewers deserve better and 7 should hang their heads in shame at their performance.
It's been a bit over a month since the last update and nothing has changed with 7plus. This is still the worst app I have ever used. It's always glitchy, and sometimes it won't load anything at all. It is definitely not my phone as all other apps are running fine, including streaming apps. When a service is offered and the app doesn't deliver it is very annoying. In the era of subscription streaming I think 7plus needs to get swimming before it sinks.
is an absolutely hopeless app, unless of course you prefer to spend 15 mins trying to get it work rather than watching the footy every tine you open it. but if that's what you're into then it's great. oh, if you like watching video that isn't matched to the audio then this one may be for you.
worst app ever. Can't stream more than one episode when you try to run the next episode it won't play. sometimes the app completely freezes up my phone and I have to do a hard reset before it will start again. once or twice it has caused my phone to lock up and the screen to flash. do yourself a favour don't use it. 7 +should be ashamed of their app it is terrible.
constantly having try again message pop up as ads end then try again and have to re-watch ads and still plays up. Also the more like this section is nothing like what it says it's just whatever they want to promote unless they are saying home and away is similar to every show I watch, considering I watch no soapies and mainly things with blood gore and devils etc or documentary style show ie gold rush n crystal hunters etc top 6 are shows I'd never watch. today I've given up and deleted 7+
We've been having a terrible experience with this app since the start of this year. Before this year we weren't big users because of circumstances. We find we have to force update this App almost every time we go to use it from our Samsung TV. On my Pixel 7 phone I'm forced to login every time, password never works, and I'm forced to reset my password every time.
6 weeks later & nothing's changed. Still a rubbish app. Can't get any numbers to show on a frozen TV screen. Absolutely appalling app & system. Can't get the codes to appear on the TV. The home screen freezes every time it's opened. Nothing can be viewed using the TV remote. Don't have any issues with 10play. Get your act together 7.
This app is so glitchy. I Chrome cast from my phone. To watch a series, I have to stop casting after an episode and leave the App for awhile then go back. Never automatically goes in the the next episode even though I have it in settings to do that. Takes forever to watch something. 9Now, ABC View and SBS on Demand are great as well as Netflix. I only use it if there is something I want to see. I wish the developers of this App would fix the autoplay on it for users who Chromecast.
I have a Umidigi power 5 mobile phone running Android 11. I have tried several times to use this app and everytime the screen tells me it's having technical issues and I can't watch it on my phone. everytime I go into the app it says the same thing.
