This game gives you hours of fun and excitement. I love this game but there are a few glitches. Like when trying to see a recipe for a combo card, the game always crashes. I don't understand that, but I see here on the reviews that this is an issue for everyone. And I wish you could recycle old upgraded cards. I have sooo many common cards that I don't use anymore that I can't get rid of. I wish it would allow you to recycle them. But other then that, this game is solid. And I love the new calendar feature that gives you free goodies for playing everyday. (4star rating) Update: bug issue of game crashing when trying to view combos has since been fixed! Thank you! And I figured out how to delete common cards. That was my error not the game lol. But the issue was that they were in other decks so I couldn’t delete them. The game is great. The only, I don’t wanna call it an issue, but suggestion I have is to be able to delete extra decks. I added decks for swole events and different BGEs but would love to be able to delete them when done. At the moment, I have 5-6 decks that I can’t get rid of. That would be an awesome feature. But I will change my rating to 5 star because that’s not a super big deal, just a preference and the game really is awesome! Everyone should play ☺️
The game is great , the title speaks for itself. I’ve been playing the game since it’s release and have really liked how it’s going so far. The game is fun and challenging. Most other reviews tell you that you have to pay to win...that is false. Through daily login rewards , arena awards , challenge rewards , and rewards from any other modes , you can quickly enhance your deck. I’ve spent 0 dollars and already on my way to my 7th legendary card and 1st mythic card (2 top ranks a card can reach). The game features tons of favorite characters from different shows and multiple editions of the character through combinations (i.e. Peter + The Clam = Drunk at The Clam Peter) , although there’s one thing that I ask from the creators and it’s that they add more updates for more cards , I feel like there are some classics that are missing from the game ( i.e. Death from Family Guy) but yea this game is good for people who want something challenging and addicting , enjoy your experience!
I'm very surprised at how little microtransactions there are in the game, making deck building and of course a bit of luck the deciding factors in PVP or anywhere else. A lot of brilliant card art too. The only thing that bothers me is there's NO VOICE ACTING! The game takes up a gig of space and doesn't have any voice acting? What the dickens!? It's the only thing keeping the game from perfection. So add it. No technical problems at all BTW, so that's end user issues. Sorry people.
This is my first review I’ve done and I feel like the developers need to know about a few minor problems with the game. First off it’s a well made game all around there’s lots to do and so many cards to collect so you’re basically getting a new card every day. I’ve never watched the shows but some of the cards are just flat out hilarious so kudos to those adult animation fan makers for giving the game a sense of humor. There are a few things that need to be updated like the quest bar I hate scrolling through all the quests just to get to the daily ones; there should be like 2 tabs 1 for main quests and 1 for daily quests. I also hate the research times I mean without ads it takes like half a day to research a epic combo and I bet legendary is probably a like a day, don’t quote me on that. I also feel like the shop is too small, there should be more packs to choose from and maybe some that would give you research time boost items. Also whenever I try using the auto skip in a battle the game crashes so hopefully that gets fixed soon. All in all it’s a unique take on the card game genre and I hope they add more cards from other shows like Rick and morty or South Park cause I can’t imagine why cards they would come up with for them.
Rating a solid 4. Game is great except it really needs to have more Adventure Energy. I only have 13 energy and when you progress further into the game, a single match in story mode takes 4 energy. So you only do 3 matches then have to wait for it to refill. If your goal is to keep players playing your game, that alone would have them looking for other games to play. It would probably do better if you added more energy to the game or atleast add a 'Watch Ads For Energy' option.
I just wanted to say that I don’t like your latest update. You updated the most random stuff that did NOT need to be updated. I only updated cuz the game wouldn’t let me play unless I did. Don’t update stuff that doesn’t need to be updated. You need to focus on why your app seems to always think there’s no internet connection no matter where I am or how good the internet connection is. You need to focus on adding an “auto-play” button to the challenges, rumbles and sieges. Not the NEW auto-play button you just updated either. You need to change that back. The button was not only moved to the opposite side of the screen but you also changed the little design inside of the button and then added some random “change your deck” button that NOBODY needed or asked for. I play this app every single day. Several times a day. If you keep making random unnecessary changes, I’m just not going to bother anymore. Every update takes up a lot of memory on my phone. When the updates have honestly just been random stuff that doesn’t need to be fixed on top of everything.
*UPDATE* The game runs fairly stable now. recently, after a major update, the game literally wouldn't run. You would load it up and it would just be frozen. now it plays fine. I do have one extremely major complaint, however. Up until now, whenever I decided to invest $10 into a monthly season pass, it would be a one-time payment. But, without any announcement or message, they autocharged me for a second month. I was not planning on doing this. This is a major problem.
It's Ok, but the money... You have to either pay $10 a month to "skip" ads. There are 10 you have to watch on a daily basis to get every perk in game. Megaquest is cool, but $19 to access the bonus stuff and it's all the same. Then there are the micro transactions. I'd rate this game higher if it wasn't for so many pay to play transactions in game.
The game is fun, but after a few days of playing I keep getting errors that it's losing its connection to servers, which boots me out of the game. It's happening more and more often. Sometimes I will watch an ad and it will have the server error right after and not remember that I watched the, so then I have to watch the ad over again, which are too long and pervasive to begin with. Not how I want to spend my time.
I really like this game, but i wont waste the readers time. The game isn't initially pay to win. You can play this game 100% free (with some ads) and have a good time. Build a deck that can get you through the adventure, and even do some damge in the pvp. However, once certain events roll around, or you reach a certain "tier" in the pvp, the game makes it very clear that if you aren't going to spend money, you aren't going to progress. Still... i cant quite put it down. It's good.
As a person who plays this game a for a while now , I can certainly say that this game is a very fun game. But you can tell is HEAVILY DESIGNED ON PAY TO WIN. This game has multiple currencies for multiple purposes. This right there is a sign of pay to win. They want you to collect coins and currency through out your playing time so you could get better cards and due certain activities throughout the game. The problem is that it could tell nearly all day to get the amount of points you want or need or even multiple days. It takes multiple hours/days to research combos. It takes multiple hours to reload your adventure bar . Basically it takes multiple hours to do things OR YOU COULD PAY AND GET YOUR CURRENCY AND MAKE IT HAPPEN NOW. I personally never spent a single dollar in this game but is just frustrating that I can’t have fun anymore because when you get to a high enough level you can only play for a few minutes without running out of points , then you have to wait an entire day to play again. Games are design with this purpose so you could continuously come back and keep playing it. GOOD GAME BUT VERY BAD CURRENCY DESIGN - PAY TO WIN
This game lacks communication amongst all players globally whether they’re part of a guild or in others. Communication is key whether it’s through knowing what going on, strategy, causal and even recruiting but what rumors are going around is that they’re going to discontinue server chats altogether and simply not communicate with others unless you plan to get another app to do so, but if a new member would to join a guild while it’s implemented they’re not going to know what app the guild uses if they even use one and become out of the loop. For guilds that have lost members due to players hopping around to others or due to inactivity guild are not capable to tell players globally that they’re looking for players as it stands. Forums are starting to not even work and even when they did people don’t want to look through 100s of ads when that guild may not be recruiting anymore at that time. Please keep communication all on the same game and consider creating a global chat for everyone to be able to communicate with everyone that plays this game. Unsure if this recommendation has any merit since Kongregate appears to not want any part having to monitor communication but it’s something I think that the game truly needs Hello! All i want to do is play the game. The same repetitive advertisement over and over again. Oh, and don't forget the money you have to spend in order to get a mystic card. Only to spend more money to level it up. SMH, if the game is not cheating you in the Rumble, Seige, Secret Fight Club etc. without clear rules, im pretty sure the watch this video will....
Game okay to pass the time, but gets boring fast. Fragments are not rewarded enough to craft mythic cards. Playing for weeks and months still haven't been able to get enough to craft mythic cards. Paying for them doesn't guarantee you will receive enough fragments either. Rewards can be down right useless and have cards that are given over and over. Rate at which one will receive any good rewards are very few. This is the way most games have become. It's ashame that it's always about the money.
Update 12/2022: Overall the game is good. Easy to play, etc. There is a HUGE PROBLEM, and that's the game's servers not being able to stay connected. My signal is strong and clear, but the game won't stay connected for very long. Big disappointment. I'm loving this game! So very few ads, easy to play, what more could you want?
You can login on Kongregate now, and start right back where you were, if you have to reinstall the game, because of the Ridiculous "Invalid Combat Data" glitch, that can't be fixed, or figured out!!Update!!! I had previously given the game 5 stars, but because of having to continuously deal with this Stupidity, I have dropped it down to 2 stars, and I am uninstalling the game, unless they actually fix this UNACCEPTABLE Issue!!
this game used to be fun for me, but now it's all about pay to win. the newly added characters are always pay 2 win with unbalanced abilities. also, every day you complete the daily quests, you have to endure the same slow animation over and over, and it gets frustrating. why not add something that gives you everything at once in a single box? furthermore shop deals aren't really deals more like overpriced and more pay 2 win like $99 for a pack? of 5000 gems and wtv else is overpriced junk (imo)
I've been playing this game daily since it came out in September 2016. It's fun and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. But for the past few months, it loses server connection constantly. It's taking an hour or more to complete 10 rumble battles. It loses connection when I open the mail, getting milestone rewards, updating my decks, using the research island, etc. Every island crashes continuously. It's gotten so frustrating that I want to just give up all together. It's just not fun anymore.
im really enjoying this game except for the stamina timer things. do you not want me to spend my time playing your game? that mechanic alone is what keeps me from buying the season pass or anything else. if I can't just pick up the game and play as much as I want to then I'm not spending a penny on it. Additionally, the ads seem to get longer and longer (first few days were 30 second ads, now some run 2+ minutes) and some of the ads are for blatant gambling scams. Dropped to 2 stars.
The game is actually really fun, but good golly the ads. Watch an ad to research a card combo, watch 3 ads to speed it up. Want decent rewards? Watch 3 more ads to increase the quality of your drops. And these are 30 second-a minute ads that try to make you play them then open the play store anyway when you try to x out. It's worse that the ads don't load the first time most times, so you have to watch like 15secs of white screen then go back watch again to get the reward. It's a shame.
1st the graphic showing the 5 star to 1 star reviews is reversed. I scrolled down through 100s of negative reviews and found a very few marked 5 star. the bugs many people mention have been there and most are fixed and new come with each upgrade and are fixed in a timely matter. this is not a game you will ever enjoy without spending money. a lot of money. the newest, most powerful cards required buying packs and are seldom if ever seen in the free awards. free to play free to lose
Was able to play last night. Woke up today and game is not working. Will not load. Freezes. Graphics not working. I can't play in rumble. Which is my favorite part of the game. This is unfair and ridiculous. I understand things happen, but players should be compensated. Rumble needs to be extended, and we should all be receiving a free gift. Get on that.
Disconnect. Disconnect. Disconnect. I'm so disappointed in how unstable this game has become since I last played. I can play for a couple minutes and then it asks if I want to reconnect. I've restarted my phone, internet, and everything on my end. They just have a garbage product and don't care. Do not install. I repeat. Do not install. I even went the extra mile and purchased the monthly sub, and I can't even play 2 weeks in. They don't acknowledge these issues, and they don't compensate.
I, along with various other people, am getting an issue where ads are not able to be exited because of the banner at the top of the screen that just "throwdown". Doesn't seem like this is a top priority fix to the engineering dept. Instead it seems like your hoping people will get frustrated and buy the ad skip pack that you sell. Edit: the canned response that you put in just about every review only makes it worse. Not a help at all. "Reach out to..." blah blah blah. They won't help.
Played since the beginning on+off and had WELL over $200 invested into the game over the years. And apparently my acct never existed (whicg is a lie). The constant need to forcefeed players with pop-ups of "deals" is excessive, the "energy" for adventure needs to just not exist as that makes players not really want to play. The whole PTW bs just ruins the point of arena let alone arena challenges if you have to spend most of your coins to NOT get people who have the best cards, even in bronze.
The worst kind of "pay to win" there is. it starts out easy enough, making it seem like you can play and compete just fine without spending money. But it quickly ramps up until you're surrounded by the type of people that have either to much money or too little life. I gave this game months to see if I could do it just on the few bucks I get from doing surveys and it's not even close. Even the PvE challenges quickly escalate to the point where they become a huge effort for very little return.
The game is now broke. The latest patch has SO many bugs. The game crashes constantly. As of right now I cant even play. I just tried to turn in some purple gems for a card and when it went to the choose your reward screen its blank and you cant choose but the game wont continue past that UNTIL you choose, but I cant, so it's just stuck on the blank choose screen. Cant back out, cant quit the screen, nothing. Restarting the game doesnt fix this either. It just goes straight to that screen.
I loved this game back in the day and had a great collection, then i ended up changing phones and had to restart from the beginning, once again started getting together a great team. Then the latest update came out and i couldnt check my deck or start any matches, so i uninstalled then reinstalled and my progress was completely reset, then after completing the tutorial for the 3rd time i can no longer do any missions or check my deck because all the buttons are unresponsive in any menus plz fix!
The game is fun, but the newest update needs help. The last version was 6 stars. The version released today has killed any chances of play time. There are many functions not working, it's freezing, graphics are missing... also they did this during a rumble competition, so if you are on a team and compete, you will not be able to contribute. My team is losing bécause many players can't play the game.
