For a free app, I highly recommend this product. I am considering purchasing the pay version, considering how much enjoy (and rely) on this version. I live in a less-than-favorable area currently and there are many hills, and I often venture on small, narrow trails to avoid people. The app's GPS tracks me very well. Recommend.

Wouldn't think over 10 years later I'd still be using this app. Tracks my "runs" 🤔 and walks...can also track weight and set run/walk/bike/swim distance, duration, or consistency goals. Another feature I'd thought I'd never use are the training plans. You'd be amazed at how much more they motivate you...PLUS you can still play your music while they chime in occasionally. When using the training plans (not all are free though 😶) it still tracks with your regular events.

I am not a competitive runner and just downloaded this app to keep track of my progress. this app has made it fun and pushed me to challenge myself in a way that makes me want to break my own records. Something I wasn't planning for. The app interface is easy to understand and read, doesn't mess with the music you are listening to unless you like to listen to your progress every 5min while you're running. I 100% love it.

Initially loved free version. Re rating from five stars. Paid for running programs. On session seven of 5k interval training, the coach, who was great for six sessions, stopped talking after 8 minutes. I even restarted the program and it happened again The tracker kept going. But the point of paying is to have someone tell you intervals and keep motivating you. Great free version. So far a fail on paid version. update: The team reached out and helped me work through the issue. All good now!

I have been using this app for years and in general am quite happy with it. I just do the free version. My biggest complaints is actually the lack of more common feminine issues that can be marked when you note that the run isn't great. Would love to see categories like 'hips' and 'pelvic floor' added to the lineup. Or for all -- 'mindset/mental'. These issues are more impactful in my running than the options currently available.

It would be nice if using a route could tell me when to turn, otherwise I don't see the point of routes, the screen turns off, so I am constantly unlocking to see where I am going when I am cycling, and it's strapped to my arm, when I am running. Update: March 2025: There is a bug with challenges, the first day of the week selection doesn't apply, it always uses Sunday. I am also happy that they added pause and stop buttons that work from the lock screen.

I love this app overall. Lots of features and options for different workouts. You can put your running shoes in and it will let you know when you're due for new ones. Can also have friends on here and share your workouts with them to motivate each other. There are also different challenges you can join that can motivates! My one complaint is that there is an auto pause feature but it will take at least 5 seconds or longer to pause but takes only a second to start again. This offsets your stats.

Has been quirky since an update over a year ago. You'll save an activity then it will pop up again when you start another activity. Free version gives good totals for week, month, and year. Does seem to track fast, about 10 seconds per mile faster than actual. Saves activities very quick which is a plus.

I loved Runkeeper for several years, but i don't love the recent changes. it may be time for a new free running app. it feels like they took away some of the information that had been part of the free version. Very disappointing, I've been using it for 5 years, but these changes will probably drive me away.

Good run-tracking functionality, and I like that it allows you to program your own intervals. The guided runs are okay, but I find the trainers talk way too much, to the point where it gets annoying. It also automatically lowers the volume of your music for the entirety of the run and doesnt give you any option of changing it, which is unacceptable IMO.

I'm really torn about my rating as I have been using this app for almost 10 yrs now. There are so many wonderful things about the app, but I don't have space to write it out. I moved to the paid plan from the free plan. I paid for the annual plan last year 2x and had a refund for 1; when my subscription actually ran out, I paid for an annual plan again. I submitted a request to customer service and had an initial fast response, but nothing since and no resolution. I guess this is goodbye.

Not the worst but also not the greatest. Their is not warm up and cool down walks inside the training program. When it gets to the end of the interval tubs she continues talking and goes to the next week's run. When opening the app you have to navigate back to the training program you have been working on. Definitely room for improvement.

Not the greatest at GPS tracking. I run the same mountain each week and the app doesn't always register the loop correctly. Unfortunately, the app doesn't allow you to manually fix the map so it's not accurate. On one jog, the app missed 1.5 miles. I'll still keep this app, but will be looking for another one which is more accurate (or at least editable).

Have been using this app since 2020 and it worked well for me until the most recent updates. The stats page is no longer user friendly and I miss the old Insights. Being able to track my lifetime monthly mileage was important for me to plan out my training cycles, but now all I can see are the last 5 months or yearly averages. Feels like the new update was not designed by actual runners because it does not capture the stats and metrics runners care most about.

I have used this app since 2011 and I have always loved it until this most recent update. I do use the free version and know there will always be limitations with that. Still, before this update I had access to my past data since 2017 and now, with no warning, I no longer has access to past months/years that I have been using to track my progress unless I pay. I also find the new graphs/organization of information unnecessarily time consuming vs being able to see everything in one glance.

I've been using this app (free version) since 2018. Opened the android app this weekend and have no access to my weekly, monthly, annually comparison, nor my history of stats. I'm disappointed to say the least. I'm not sure even if I pay the annual subscription if I'll get those comparisons. Time to upgrade to a running watch and ditch this app. Enough with the subscription business model for everything. I won't buy it!

I actually paid for this app. Bought it because I want to start running regularly and the My 5k program seemed really useful. I love the coach, Erin, and her voice isn't annoying at all. The issue is that the workouts don't load properly. Currently sitting on my couch (again) waiting for the workout I already did to play through so I can go on my run. Who wants to spend an extra half hour waiting for an app to load in the early morning before a run? Hopefully they resolve this annoying ass issue.

I loved this app for how simple it was to use. For the last two and half years, this app has struggled to record my runs, walks and hikes accurately. I was going to delete this app yesterday, but saw that it had an update and hoped that would fix the problem. Went for a five miles walk this morning and on the breakdown page of miles to minutes it shows I did five miles, but on the main recording page when you stop your activity it only showed 3.84. I'm going to move on.

Installed to log mile times. Constantly stopped tracking, so I looked at my phone after not hearing updates to see that it hadn't tracked anything and the app telling me to give them money for pro. Terrible experience Edit: Tried again, still doesnt track activities correctly. It doesn't matter how the GPS is doing if it randomly decides to stop the activity whenever it wants anyways. Choose this app if you want to spend more time looking at your device than exercising. Anything is better

Bring back the My Stats tables! They're so easy to read at a glance! If you want to add the charts, make that in addition to not instead of! There's a lovely little joy in the ritual of glancing at the screen and seeing how this run fit into an overall week, month, year's movement. It's so not the same to have to scroll through a million different graphs. And why use up space on my screen to show ads for Go - I'm already a paying customer and have been for years and years. What's going on?!?!?
