"Dialpad makes communication effortless with its clear calls and intuitive interface. The integration with other tools boosts my productivity. Highly recommend for businesses looking for a reliable phone system!"
Dialpad is awesome!! It makes it convenient to contact students and families without using my personal phone number. In addition you can text just as you would from your phone. I live that it keeps record, you can do key word searches, and even share your screen if using the desktop app. Having the ability to use dial pad from the computer or my cell makes communication that much easier to transition when on the go. Tech support is also great when I reach out for support. Lastly, the analytics provided on my communication types be it texts or calls is totally a awesome I can adjust my strategies based on what I am seeing. As a teacher in the virtual world communication is key and vital to the success of my students snd dial pad is here has been the solution to my communication needs.
We use Dialpad daily for communicating with drivers and our internal team, and it’s honestly one of the easiest platforms to work with. Everything is in one place—calls, messages, notes, and even automatic follow-ups. What really stands out is the AI feature. It helps create call summaries, tracks what I promised to drivers, and makes it easy to find previous conversations or important details. For example, if I promise a bonus or a specific load to a driver, AI catches that and saves it as a
Love the app! It makes our work phones available on all devices. When I am traveling, my laptop will ring or my cell phones. I love how it uses data as well, when I am traveling out of the country, it allows me to use my phone through the app as I would in the states. Another benefit is because you are calling through the data when traveling (out of the country) you do not have to dial the country codes! The ease of use is awesome. Do not disturb is awesome. The transcribing feature is great, I use it to look up notes on a call if I miss something during conversation. Great work Dialpad. I love it!
I have had Dialpad for about 4 months now and I must say, though I struggled with a learning curve and few small glitches, I love the service and app. I have multiple small businesses, with different phone numbers and used to have to carry multiple phones to distinguish each business. With Dialpad they are just different departments on the app on one phone. The combined saving is over $60 a month. Please do get the HD calling glitches ironed out, but beyond that, I look forward to be a customer for many years to come.
While Dialpad as a service is great, there are just some features that are missing. 1. No way to simply disable a user 2. No way to forward calls to another person on the app. 3. Some of the AI functions. 4. Other settings changes on the app. This is very general I know, but other providers just offer more control. With all this said, as a service, Dialpad is better than a lot of others. Call quality has been so much better than our previous provider.
I’ve used Dialpad for years. Both in a large corporate setting and now currently small business. I managed and have set up the Dialpad VOIP system for both scenarios for all employees. Business Texting is the area they need to improve on. Especially on the mobile app. We are a small business and use the “main line” option in Dialpad. This effects department phone numbers as well but we allow customers to text us and it’s very congested and hard to manage. The Dialpad Windows app finally added a Message Tab at the top that finally groups messages into one area but the mobile apps still don’t have this option. Also notifications don’t work for messaging so we don’t know if we got a text. Notifications only work if you text from your Dialpad number and not the business line. 1. Add message grouping tab on mainline and department on Mobile apps. 2. Add notifications to all operators if a text is received. Either from the app or to your phone number for SMS Forwarding 3. Not a need but more a request, have a Dialpad integration within your website for texting. Another area to make more money for them :)
So I’ve been using Dialpad for my client and I for about 2 months now. We share the mainline number which allows me to answer calls and text messages in behalf of his company. Great for remote work especially for those that need an assistant. So when it comes to the call quality, and the use of the app, it’s awesome. Also the customer service is wonderful. However, there are some basic features that I feel it’s lacking. For example, if you’re sharing a main line like we are, you don’t get sound notifications at all. So you have to be glued on to the app in order to see when you get messages or you will never know, and honestly who has time for that? I feel like this is something that should be integrated like yesterday. As of right now you only get sound notifications to your direct line but not on a main shared line, regardless of the kind of plan you have. Dialpad could be on top of all other VOIT systems if they would fix such basic issues. Also, auto SMS responses for text messages would be fantastic on a main share line as well!
Great system misleading pricing. I was on the pro trial and I must say the system is excellent. Sadly I can't use it as what they don't make clear on the website is that you can only use the pro plan if you buy a minimum of 3 licenses. So for a single user it is not $35 a month, it is in fact $105 a month. This is terrible advertising and very misleading. They say just use the standard plan, but like all things app related the best stuff is in the pro plan.
At the most basic level, this app provides tools needed, and has occasional defects. At times the service is weak, despite my wifi being strong. However, the biggest issue I have experienced are MASSIVE fees and taxes, resulting in a 66% upcharge from the promoted rate. Be very careful when agreeing to a plan here, and be sure to ask them for a full breakdown of your anticipated first invoice. Again, you could end up paying 66% more than the rate you see advertised.
Hi Team, my phone(Redmi Note 13) never rings when receiving call on dial pad... I have checked all the settings but no luck. can you please help. Hi team, I am facing the same issue with my new phone (Realme GT 13 PRO) I bought is yesterday...
Service works decently well. App is HORRIBLE. My entire company is switching away from using Dialpad complete solely because of the app. Biggest issue: the app continues to vibrate/ring even after the call is answered or declined making conversation impossible. That's assuming that the call CAN be answered... this brings me to the next issue. 75% of the time the call can not be answered on the app. The mobile app will ring maybe twice, a pop up notification will come up, then it will disappear. It keeps vibrating & ringing but there is no option in the app to answer the call. Meanwhile, the call is still "ringing" on either the desktop app or the web app. I can answer the call on those but not on the mobile app. Even after answering the call on the desktop or web app, the mobile app will continue vibrating & ringing. To stop the vibrating/ringing, I have to reboot the phone or "force stop" the app. Unusable. Also, I notice a discrepancy between text messages on the desktop/web app and the mobile app. Some messages will appear on one but not the other. Can't trust it. 2 stars for the service that works decently. 0 stars for the app itself as it's completely useless.
The phone and desktop apps are both full of bugs, the apps barely function. They doubled their prices, but still can't offer a working product. The android app, as many here have been complaining about for months, just ring an incoming call alert endlessly, without prompting you with an option to answer the call. So not only does your call not come through, the only way to stop the device from ringing is to shut down and restart your phone. The web login is the only one that actually works.
Replying to the reply I got from Dialpad. The issue exists both on the app and on the browser. Whether I'm at home connected to my wifi (800Mbps 30ms Ping) or on my computer that has a wired connection, there is always issues. Ringers are set to max seconds. Calls only ring 4 times. And when you pick up, they don't connect. If your app isn't good on the go with HD calling, then you shouldn't release it and advertise it as a feature. Subpar company with subpar service.
Great when it works, but trust the 1 star reviews... their support team is awful. We've had several issues with their support team, including a major one that had our calls with clients get disconnected. For weeks, they told us that it was our network despite what we told them, and all along it was an update of their app! Dozens of hours wasted, and 80+ emails. In a separate instance, changing our billing from monthly to yearly has so far been 11 days and 8 e-mails. Frustrating.
This was absolutely horrible... if you run any business that NEEDS SMS texting, do NOT go with DialPad and sign up for their yearly contract. You are locked in, with no way of canceling... I signed up because i was recommended through the CRM I was using, and at first i liked it. Then I tried to get the SMS registration done, and it's STILL not verified after 4 months... I signed up with HighLevel to do the same thing. They had it done in 9 days. complete waste of time and money.
Currently in major crisis mode because of Dialpad. I run a small business and use the SMS Texting as my primary mode of communication. Now, the ability to send messages has been taken away due to "SMS Registration." I have been working with Dialpad support over the course of months to get the registration right. And I have done everything they said and confirmed it with them. Now, all of the sudden, my SMSs are getting rejected, and they say it will take weeks at a minimum to get it back.
I'm not sure why it's not possible to check text messages. Going to a department from my phone when I can easily do it from my computer desktop app. Please add this feature ASAP. It is crucial for business. Update: 05/08/23 A year later. This app is riddled with bugs and issues. Too many for me to name on here. I'll be moving my business away from this company. Terrible terrible phone service. Wish I could give it half a star instead of 1 star. So frustrating.
App works fine, but I've recently noticed a glitch where it breaks my auto lock on my phone after getting a call. Only way to fix was to restart my phone. I have 2 different phones with Dialpad installed. I uninstalled it on one and kept it on the other and after getting a call, it glitches out the phone that had it installed. Won't be using until this is fixed as it's very frustrating and drains battery.
I'm using this app for work. It is extremely temperamental on my Note9. Lately it either doesn't ring at all but give a missed call notification. The call won't transfer to one of the various lines on the system. The other issue is the call taking over 20seconds to connect on my end when I initiate a call. It's really unfortunate that it's so buggy. I'd suggest uninstalling when not in use. This app has the residual affect of screwing up the normal function of the volume on the phone.
Lost calls and texts, Horrible GUI, and the list goes on. I've had the service for about 5 years and I would love to get off of it but the amount of calls make it very difficult. If you are a single user you will regret getting involved. The platform is for large companies with web-based use only
Reading recent reviews I can see Dialpad has not improved. I used it over a long period. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with software. I really struggled trying to make it work with my business. The support was terrible; the apps were terrible on Android, Apple and the web. If reliable communication is important to you, do not use Dialpad.
You would be better off going to school and programming you own app. I have wasted at least 4 hours of my time trying to work w the joke of a support dept w dialpad! I should have known when it took an hour to get one line and a vm to function following their support instructions. Then I tried to add a second office as they advertise as a option. It took 3 days for their programmers to figure out how their own systems functioned. I could not get consistent support as you communicate in a support ticket chain so everyone has diff levels of experience. Mostly very little experience as I would not be surprised if this company is run by a college age kids in CA and then hired help on the Philippines. I tried for days to get transferred to a manager but never was connected. This company def has yet to transfer me to someone with any level of people skills or knowledge. If what they advertise was available and they had good management to support, this would be a great app and company.
Nothing but headaches save your time and money especially if you’re coming from Tmobile dont do it you’ve been warned!!!! Nothing but bugs n glitches with their system especially if you’re a small business and you’re going to use iPhones complete nightmare… you will never get notifications of text messages and the majority of the calls are dropped or staticky!!!! Regardless if you’re in good cellular range or in perfect wifi!!! You contact support and they will just give you the run around and never get a solution and let me get to the billing part a whole separate nightmare!!!! Over $70 of just fees!!!!! Ridiculous!!!! Thats not it!!! I signed up for 11 licenses and they made the decision to charge me for 13!!! And added other extra fees on my bill and you call them and this is what happens they transfer back n forth and tell you they have to create a ticket for it because no one can answer why those extra fees and extra licenses are being billed!!!! Been 2 months every other day is at least 1-2 hours on the phone with them and nothing gets resolved theyll just give u ticket numbers after ticket numbers that will pile up and you’ll be stuck with their bad customer service and their really poor app service!!!!
