At this time I'm currently happy with my decision to use the GO2Bank and the GO2Bank Credit Building accounts as of this moment I believe that I have chose and made the right decision to do this as I am trying to fix and rebuild my credit as my husband to be and I are trying to buy a home in the very near future and my credit is damaged due to my first marriage and his is a little of two things he has none or very little credit and/or his first marriage as well has played a big factor in his credit issues as well! So with these cards we are hoping to build and rebuild a bigger and better credit limit for the both of us and pray that in the very near future will be able to purchase our home as we are wanting!! I've had an account with Go2B for quite a while, but never had really used it much. now that I use it regularly I find it too be as awesome as I originally thought. easy to use, lots of options from Overdraft protection to secured Credit Cards for less than perfect FICO scores. BEST of all is the APR on simple basic savings (vaults) look around... you won't beat it.

Very easy to navigate for information pertaining to your account. So many options to find just what you're looking for. Sd far as balance, transactions, locking and unlocking your Go2card, so your in control. Also has your credit card balance. Your 360 card account balance. You also have free access to your FICO score and more with Experian. So yes you don't need more than this app, to check in on your mobile banking with Green dot Go2 banking. Oh yeah. One more thing, they're FDIC insured.

I’ve been with GoBank for years and switched over to GO2bank. Getting my money switched was frustrating and confusing, but it worked out in the end. (I originally gave it 1 star due to the frustration, but it all fixed itself in the end.) The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because many useful financial apps like Experian or Acorn do not recognize GoBank/GO2bank. They are never listed. I can’t even request GO2bank to be added to Experian cause there’s a digit in its name. Even when I tried to connect my GoBank account to GO2bank through Plaid, nothing came up when searching it. It’s ridiculous that other companies don’t recognize it even though it’s been around a long time and I was online banking with them way before other online banks started such as Chime. I think if there is a way to fix it. It would help customers out so much. One more small critique is I liked the simplicity of the GoBank app home page. I don’t like GO2bank’s. This has been a really good card when compared to others like it. The only thing that needs a little work is the time it takes to update your balance in the app after you've added money on it. I've waited over 30 mins before to make sure it was there before paying a bill. Which normally isn't a big deal but the bill needed to be paid before the place closed and I almost missed paying it waiting on the app to show I had the money.

ETA: updating my review. This bank is extremely frustrating with pending charges. Pending charges don't show up on your account, or shoe briefly, so you never know what transactions haven't completely gone through without looking through every single transaction. Very frustrating when you have made multiple purchases and there is no record in your account. Pending holds also drop pretty quickly, this is easily one of the best banks I have dealt with.

It started out really good banking with GO2Bank. So much so that I endeavored into a GO2Bank secured Credit Card. Then I noticed twelve unauthorized transactions and opened a dispute claim. I put in the leg work and submitted a dispute packet as directed that included all supporting documents like a police report, correspondence with other parties and banking institutions that were involved, and a detailed dispute letter. The packet was submitted via USPS mail as it was the only option; so one can imagine the lengthy timeline from opening the dispute claim to finally getting GO2Bank’s response and outcomes. Well, in the end it did not go in my favor and lost hundreds of dollars. The unfavorable dispute ordeal made me divide to change my direct deposit from GO2Bank to my other checking account. I later realized that the GO2Bank secured credit card payments could only be made from the checking account. So I aimed to utilize the Debit Card Transfer feature with GO2Bank but that isn’t going so well with transfers being rejected my funds have been held for 7 or more business days before being available. This makes making the monthly credit card payments challenging. I am still in limbo about closing my accounts with GO2Bank but hesitant for it may influence my already low credit score. I thought using GO2Bank banking services was going to help me to improve my credit score but so far it does not seem as such. Hi Kamuela, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. It was better under greendot. I use to be able to "peek" at my balance or a quick check with a text. Now the only way is to log in. You can no longer have a card for yourself and a card for your partner on the same account, but you can pay fee's for two accounts... Which isn't actually a solution and so you have to carry cash. My advice? Find something else. Just like banks they are moving away from customer service and towards profits.

The app has been working perfectly find for a couple years of then suddenly something "mysterious" went wrong. The app no longer allows me to log in. I've uninstalled it & reinstalled with no new results. I can't log in through the website either. I contacted customer service 3 times. No one can or won't provide an explanation. No one bothers to call me back after they say they will. All I got was a ticket number & a reassurance that it's being "reviewed". I'll be closing my account ASAP

Not too bad. Mobile check deposits go through in minutes with a $5 fee. However, when taking the picture of the check it's hard to get the camera in the app to catch the right angle and takes forever to get the picture right so it's accepted. Also, I'm not receiving any notifications and I do have notifications enabled and updated to the newest version of the app.

I really loved banking with this company until I had to deal with the customer service people. They locked my card because I accidentally pressed the n option instead of the y for fraud alert. for a subscription I've had for months I have called 3 times now my card is still not unlocked. I tried to just transfer the money out but the only option is to transfer money in. They charge you random fees but you do get your paychecks really early. I have also never been able to deposit checks.

Downloaded this app for a new Android phone yet for some reason, it's different than the iPhone version because it's not staying on the check cashing screen for more than 3-seconds. The iPhone version lets you take your time & then offer to take the picture manually. I told Support about this issue and I got a generic answer and was rushed off the chat almost instantly. I think this is more for the Developers to fix. You guys want the 5 for the Android? Happy to, fix the bug. Thank you.

I have now had a canceled order ten minutes after it was placed pending for 7 days on my secured credit card account. I tried to reach out and ask why through chat. The rep told me I had the wrong card info when I was staring at it. Not wrong. He then ended the chat before I could finish typing a response. Tried calling. Never ending wait. It's for about 100 dollars and I'm assuming they want me to overdraft my debit account to charge me the 15 dollar fee. Per overdraft. Don't use.

This bank account was at one time a great one to use. I had no issues at first but now it seems as though there is a problem every time I get a large deposit (every three months) . The problems have ranged from unauthorized purchases , charges posting more than once on my account, lost cards being delivered etc. I'm tired of having to worry of my money is safe and my bank is trust worthy. I'm sick of filing for disputes and losing money I have to track down to find and get back . Unacceptable!

There is a monthly "maintenance fee" of $5 that was never disclosed to me. And even though they alert you about every transaction, I was never alerted that the $5 was coming out each month, and so it overdrafted.. again, I was not notified that it was overdrawn. I checked the app to see how much was left on the card, and that was how I found out.

There is a $5 "monthly maintenance fee" for whatever reason and it doesn't matter if you are even using your account! Password requirements are weak and there is no 2FA security. Card does not have NFC (Tap to pay). I like that they give you a virtual card right away while you wait for your debit card in the mail but that is the only good thing I can say. Cash deposit fees are high along with ATM fees. All in all this is a 1 star bank and there are a lot of better options out there, avoid!!

When I first got the account it was good. I found a service that was closer to my needs and moved my paycheck there. Recently I decided to split up my pay and Go2bank was one of the accounts I sent money to. Suddenly, even though the account was finally in the positive and was active, they flagged my account as suspicious and locked it. I checked on it after the lock and found they decided to permanently close the account, only allowing me to withdraw the remaining balance. I do not recommend.

I only installed this app to leave a review for anyone considering this card, and as soon as I click Post, I'm deleting it. I'm being charged a $5 fee every month even though I've never used the card even once. I can't find a way to close my account, and it doesn't give you the option to email customer service. The only 2 options are to call and wait forever to speak to an actual live person, or to mail them a letter. Yes, snail mail in 2021. U can keep your damn card.

The WORST prepaid card I have ever had. This card has the longest wait time I've ever encountered for transactions actually posting to the account. I had 2 returns that the merchant released the funds and showed me proof, but customer service at go2 advised it could take up to 10 business days for them to release the funds into my account. And that because the bank has decided that the charges are pending, that there is NOTHING they can do. It's like banking on the 1950s.

I just opened an account and got my card. I activated it over the phone and downloaded the apps latest version. It lets me log in but Everytime I try to add money by cashing a check, it says I have to activate my card and then when I try, it won't scan or even do it manually put in. Totally frustrated! Tried contacting on chat and that's a complete waste of time. No one responds. Called to make sure my card was activated since it said it wasn't and it was. Too many glitches!

I've never been hung up on so many times in my life. I've done everything correct to receive my reward for the refer a friend. I get on the phone with you guys around 8:00 and get hung up on every 45 minutes my problem has been escalated numerous times. They love to transfer me and hang up and the most recent one she couldn't hear. At this point it doesn't even matter about the $50 it's about how you guys continuously lie!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased a card from Walgreens, put over $300 on my account. Tried to register my card after activation, my account end up restricted with “limited access”. Customer Service reps were rude and give you the runaround or just say nothing at all. Still can’t get my money back. I got this card specifically to pay bills but can only use for purchases in store or online. All they kept saying is “I’m sorry” and repeating themselves. This whole operation is a joke. I was better off just throwing my money out of a moving window And to respond to the “Developers Response”, calling or chatting with your Customer Service will just cause more problems! They are not helpful in resolving anything! I wasted 6 hours trying to get my issues resolved and just kept getting silence instead of answers or sent in circles when they did actually respond. This banking app is terrible. First biometrics doesn't work or they just don't have it. Second they charge me to use the dang account as a fee monthly, that's why I got rid of other bank accounts. Third they're direct deposit that they claim works for overdraft never does work and I can't access things I want from the account. I'm looking for a new account ASAP. I would recommend not using this as your banking app.

Never got my free phone. Customer service is outsourced to a different country and is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Direct deposit picture taking is not smooth and not free. If theroa problem be prepared to be on phone for 2 hours. There is no physical branches you can walk into. I needed a card to have direct deposits from a job in a pinch so I figured I’d try go2. Wow what a terrible mistake. And lastly the most unbelievable thing. Someone used my card fraudulently to purchase concert tickets on the other side of the United States on the night the charges were made. Go to bank notified me within minutes of the charge being made and asked if it was me obviously I told them no, locked my card and called go to bank immediately. This was four weeks ago! They’re “dispute department” is doing an “investigation” are you kidding me! like investigation?come on man this is such a joke do not use this bank! RUN! I’ll be lucky if I ever see my money back. I am nowhere near the only one in there is no possible way that go to bank has a 4.7 rating that is inflated just read the reviews if you’re reading this you’ve been warned! Go2bank is not a good bank. They charge for everything you access your account through. Load your cashapp from it they charge a fee. Use it at the grocery store, they charge a fee, use it period and they charge you a fee. After spending $6000 from this account I had $100 left and they finally locked my card and made me jump through a bunch of hoops to access it. You would think they would have asked for your ID when you opened the account, but no. The customer service is hard to understand.
